About

My name is Michael, and I am a husband to Shelly, a dad to three adventurous children (with a fourth on the way), and a follower of Jesus. I love being a husband and dad, and I want to inspire and be inspired by dads to boldly lead our families as we walk with Christ! I recently made a transition out of full-time youth ministry after 12 years. I view following Jesus as the ultimate adventure, and I want to help parents—especially dads—on this journey!

Our family lives in St. Louis, Missouri, and we love adventure—from exploring the mountains to exploring the downtown of a big city! We strive to be intentional about leading our children to the heart of God. We are not perfect, but we try anyway! We also have a goal to visit all 50 states and as many National Parks as possible before our oldest child heads off to college. So far, we have taken her to 38 states and 15 of the 60 National Parks!
